Getting Here
We are located at the heart of the city centre, so you have lots of options on how to get to us. If you have any issues getting here, please call us on
0151 702 5324 and we can point you in the right direction.
By Train
We are within a five minute walk from both Liverpool Central and Lime Street Stations, based next to Liverpool One.
By Car
The two nearest car parks to Bluecoat are Q-Park on Hanover Street (2 minute walk) or Q-Park John Lewis (6 minute walk). For driving directions, set your sat nav to: Bluecoat Chambers, L1 3BX
By Public Transport
We are in the heart of the city centre so accessible by most bus routes. You can plan your visit via Merseytravel Journey Planner.
Facilities
Tickets and Information
Visit our Tickets and Information desk in our Hub area for information on our exhibitions, building, or to book tickets for our event programme. Our staff will be happy to help with any of your questions.
Access
Wheelchair access is available to all areas of Bluecoat’s new wing and garden. Due to restrictions as a Listed building there is limited access to the older parts of the building.
Assistance dogs are welcome
Please advise Tickets & Information when booking your ticket if you are bringing a guide dog.
Induction Loops
Induction Loops are fitted in a number of areas of the building including Tickets & Information, the cafe, the Performance Space and the Sandon Room.
Toilets
There are toilets located on both our ground and first floor, including disabled toilet facilities.
Baby changing facilities
There are baby changing facilities located on our ground floor.
Lifts
There is lift access for visitors who are not able to use the stairs in the new wing and gallery space. Lifts can be used to access the Bistro, performance space, and upstairs exhibition spaces.
Cafe
Our cafe is located on the ground floor of our building and serves a full range of meals, snacks, cakes and drinks. The cafe area is fully accessible and assistance is always available on request from our staff.
