As part of Baff Akoto's UP:RISE is a newly commissioned digital performance by Blue Saint. Delving into the rich history of the area and the locals who inhabit, Toxteth Rising shines a light on what makes this community so unique while interrogating its historic inequalities and contemporary marginalisation.
The performance piece was released digitally on 21 August.
UP:RISE Artwork is accompanied by UP:RISE In Conversation a series of talks interrogating different aspects of the work and UP:RISE Creators a programme of community-based workshops.
