During this psychogeographical ferry, bus and walking tour of Lowry's Wirral in 2009, postcards were handed out at each stop. Designed by Colin Dilnot, the reverse of each contains a pertinent text by Lowry and other writers. These relate to key themes from his life and work, including the 'perpetual gloom' of his childhood, golfing, the Isle of Man, sea voyaging, his Dollarton idyll, jazz, drink and death.
