Flyer for a Malcolm Lowry psychogeographical day comprising a ferry and bus tour and walk led by Wirral Lowry expert Colin Dilnot, visiting resonant sites in Lowry's biography and writing. The second half of the day featured films, a talk by leading Lowry expert Chris Ackerley, and live music from James Tyson, Mike Figgis and the Liverpool Ukulele Orchestra.

Developed by the Bluecoat from an idea by writer and academic, Mark Goodall under the guise of 'The Firminists', The Voyage That Never Ends provided the template for subsequent annual Lowry celebrations, titled The Lowry Lounge.
