Editor Mark Goodall introduced the fourth issue of this occasional Lowry journal which includes essays by Patrick A. McCarthy on In Ballast to the White Sea: A Scholarly Edition; Mark Valentine on finding magic in Lowry; Wieland Schulz-Keil on adapting Under the Volcano for cinema; and reflections on the documentary An Inquiry into the Life and Death of Malcolm Lowry. Helen Tookey read a selection of her sonnets printed in the journal, based on Lowry's novella Lunar Caustic.
