The tenth Lowry Lounge started on the Wirral with a walk led by Colin Dilnot, tracing Lowry's New Brighton footsteps. At the Williamson Art Gallery in Birkenhead, Helen Tookey and Bryan Biggs gave an illustrated talk on Lowry’s eventful life, a journey that took him 'from the Wirral to the world'. The day finished at the Bluecoat where an evening programme included talks, a launch of the occasional Lowry journal, The Firminist, and a second 'Open Malc' that invited contributions from the floor.
