The Williamson Art Gallery in Birkenhead hosted the morning session of the Lowry Lounge (or 'Lounge Lowry') with a talk by Bryan Biggs and Helen Tookey focusing on Lowry’s Wirral origins and an installation by artist Alan Dunn relating to his commissioned project the previous year, The Lighthouse Invites the Storm. The images here show the installation, some residents from Mariners Park care home for retired seafarers in Wallasey who were involved in The Lighthouse Invites the Storm, the illustrated talk, and a display of Lounge-related material.
