Canadian publisher Ottawa University Press has an ongoing series of Lowry-related books and at the 2016 Lounge the Bluecoat hosted the European launch of its new volume of essays, Malcolm Lowry’s Poetics of Space. Two of the book’s authors, editor of The Firminist journal Mark Goodall and short story writer Ailsa Cox - both members of the Firminists, which organisers the Lounges - read from their chapters.
