The sixth Lowry Lounge included a walking tour of Lowry's golf courses, hence the '19th Hole' in the title. The programme that followed at the Bluecoat included the European launch of University of Ottawa Press' publication of a scholarly edition of Lowry's first version of Under the Volcano (1940) and a screening of one of his favourite films, Outward Bound (1930), set aboard a crewless boat sailing to an unknown destination and starring Douglas Fairbanks Jr. and Helen Chandler.
