The Sandon Studios Society dining room attracted many distinguished artists who were visiting Liverpool. From the visitors' book, now in Liverpool Record Office, they included composers Stravinsky, Holst and Bartok, and musicians, actors and choreographers such as Kathleen Ferrier, George Balanchine, Margot Fonteyn and Laurence Olivier.
