This was the first of artist Janet Hodgson's three commissions engaging with the Bluecoat building and its history. This night-time projection of lines of punishment referenced the school, as did her next piece, a video installation, History Lesson (1994), while final work, Re-Run (2008) recreated pursuit sequences from cinema in Bluecoat's empty spaces during its renovation.
