Elin Strand's durational performance installation in the Bluecoat Concert Hall was part of the InIVA touring exhibition, Veil, on the theme of veiling, representation and contemporary art, developed and curated by Zineb Sedira, Jananne Al-Ani, David A. Bailey and Gilane Tawadros. It also included work by Faisal Abdu'Allah, Kourush Adim, AES art group, Jananne Al-Ani, Ghada Amer, Farah Bajull, Samta Benyahia, Gaëtan de Clérambault, Marc Garanger, Shadafarin Ghadirian, Ghazel, Emily Jacir, Ramesh Kalkur, Majida Khattari, Shirin Neshat, and Harold Offeh. Veil was organised by inIVA (Institute of International Visual Arts) in London in association with Modern Art Oxford. It toured to Walsall Art Gallery and Modern Art Oxford and in Liverpool was shown at Bluecoat and the Open Eye Gallery. Photo: Robert Cook.
