Ben Sledge

Ben Sledge is a journalist and critic focusing on video games and technology for websites including The Guardian and NME.

A Liverpool local, he focuses his work on showcasing independent developers in the city and further afield, loving nothing more than getting out into the field and interviewing the people who make and play games. Over the course of his career, he's had the privilege of interviewing everyone from poets and Olivier Award-winning actors to Liverpool FC stars and professional wrestlers, and he isn't done yet.

Ben studied Russian at university and spent a year living in Moscow, which he mostly spent trying to read Bulgakov in the original language. Nowadays he travels closer to home with his wife, Lucy, and daughter, Stevie. He's still working on that novel.
