On Friday 1 November, Blue Coat School's rare and historic Father Willis pipe organ recreated its journey via horse-drawn day from Bluecoat to the school's site in Wavertree. From 1874 it was proudly displayed in the school chapel on the first floor in what is today the Bistro, positioned in the curve in front of the current balcony.
In 1906, as we transition from school to arts centre, the organ was transported to the School's current building.
