Invitation to Tender
Bluecoat, Liverpool’s centre for the contemporary arts has secured capital funding from Arts Council England and the European Regional Development Fund to develop the ground floor public area of the building (known as the Hub) which houses our café, information desk and and visitor entrances. The project will transform our public areas, enabling us to better reflect our vision, mission and values.
Bluecoat is in Liverpool’s oldest building; a bustling cultural venue which sees 650,000 visits each year. Our city centre positioning, the heritage of our building and our hospitality business help us to attract an audience to Bluecoat which is diverse in age, gender, disability, ethnicity and socio-economic background. Bluecoat hosts a regular programme of exhibitions, live events, workshops and discussions covering a range of art forms including visual art, music, dance and literature.
We are seeking Principal Contractor Services to undertake the refurbishment works. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be involved in the development of a Liverpool institution.
